Linfield Ladies took a step closer to the Danske Bank Premiership crown with a last gasp 3-2 victory over Cliftonville Ladies at Solitude.
Northern Ireland international Marissa Callaghan put Cliftonville ahead just after twenty minutes when she controlled a through ball inside the area and finished hard and low into the bottom left corner.
The Reds were punished for failing to make their dominance count when the Blues rattled in two quick fire goals at the beginning of the second half.
Rebbeca Bassett superbly kept her composure inside the area when Megan Bell played through a well-weighted pass and Bassett made the score 1-1 in the 48th minute.
Bell then put Linfield ahead soon after when she made a superb solo run firing hard and low into the bottom corner.
The Reds drew level when Rachel McConnell fired high into the roof of the Linfield net to keep the Reds' faint title hopes alive midway through the second half.
Both teams had great chances to win the game and when a draw looked like the outcome Linfield's Kirsty McGuinness lobbed Caoimhe Callaghan from 35 yards to record a last gap victory for Linfield and virtually assure them of the title.
