RANGERS END CAMPAIGN ON WINNING NOTE
Lisburn Rangers ended a successful first season in the Sports Direct Women's Premiership with a three-goal defeat of Mid Ulster Ladies at Stangmore Park.
Scoreless at the break, the visitors moved in front on 66 minutes when Caoimhe Gelston Mulholland collected the ball in the middle of the park, brought it forward and unleashed a terrific drive into the top left corner from at least 25 yards.
Rangers doubled up three minutes later after Sophie Megaw sent a great ball over from left directly into the path of Ellie-Mae Dickson to finish confidently in the area.
And the scoring was completed with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when Dickson's cross from the right was turned into her own net at the near post by Niamh O'Donnell.
