BLUES HAVE TOO MUCH FOR CANDYSTRIPES
Linfield Women strengthened their grip on third spot with victory over Derry City Women at the Brandywell.
The league's leading scorer, Cora Chambers, brought her tally for the season to 16 with the opening goal on ten minutes, a lead the Blues held until Eve Reilly doubled it just before the break.
The Candystripes did pull a goal back on the hour after Shannon Dunne converted from the spot but Linfield defended their slender lead and eventually added a third in stoppage time through Eva Myles.
