REDS POWER BACK TO THE TOP
Cliftonville Ladies stormed back to the top of the table following a crushing defeat of Lisburn Rangers at Crewe Park.
The Reds raced into a three-goal lead by the half-hour mark courtesy of a Marissa Callaghan hat-trick.
The former Northern Ireland skipper opened the scoring after just five minutes after getting on the end of a through ball to find the corner of the net from 15 yards.
She doubled up soon after with a lob over the keeper from just outside the area before bagging her third on 29 minutes from the spot.
Kirsty McGuinness added a fourth before the break when she knocked home the rebound after her initial effort came back off an upright.
Danielle Maxwell scored Cliftonville's fifth early in the second half with a great finish, and followed up four minutes after that with her second of the night.
Carla Devine added to the scoreline on 62 minutes with a drive into the corner of the net from inside the area before Maxwell hit her third beyond the reach of Jenna Corry from 15 yards.
Rangers grabbed a stoppage time consolation when, following a scramble in the box, Sophie Megaw headed in off the crossbar.
