O'DONNELL SPOT ON TO EARN MID ULSTER A POINT
Mid Ulster Ladies grabbed a late equaliser to secure a point from Linfield Women's visit to the Mid Ulster Sports Arena.
The home side went in front as early as the ninth minute when, from the right, Jessica Magee sent over for a cross for her sister Sophie to calmly tuck home at the back post.
Linfield levelled midway through the first half courtesy of Keri Halliday's finish from a defensive error.
Then, seven minutes into the second half, the visitors seized the lead when Rachel Kerr slotted low and hard to the left of keeper Lilie Crooks.
That was how it stayed until three minutes from time. Mid Ulster broke on the counter attack with Eimear McGarrity bearing down on goal only to be upended by keeper Erin McAllister, with Niamh O'Donnell stepping up to blast home the resultant spot-kick.
