GLENS HIT DOUBLE FIGURES
League leaders Glentoran Women swept to a crushing ten-goal victory over Larne Women at Ashfield Boys HS.
It took the Glens half-an-hour to open the scoring, but then the floodgates well and truly opened.
Kerry Beattie found the net on 32 minutes after converting a ball from the right, with Emily Wilson adding a second soon after at the near post.
Beattie doubled her tally moments later, before Joely Andrews got on the scoresheet followed swiftly by Wilson’s second of the evening – all within a blistering eight minute spell!
Wilson then bagged her hat-trick goal into the far corner a couple of minutes from the break.
Beattie followed suit with her third midway through the second half, with Rachel Rogan then coming off the bench to hit two in quick succession. Jenna McKearney then completed the scoring with just over ten minutes remaining.
