ERIN MARKS DEBUT WITH HAT-TRICK
Erin Montgomery grabbed a debut hat-trick as Larne Women defeated Lisburn Ladies at the Bluebell Stadium.
The new arrival from Lisburn Rangers opened the scoring for the visitors from a free-kick after half-an-hour that crept inside the near post, but this was cancelled out in first half stoppage time by Morgan Shannon after she ran onto a long ball over the top.
The experienced Stacey Murdough then edged Lisburn in front midway through the second half with a downward header from a Casey Duffy free-kick before Montgomery levelled for the visitors with a lofted effort from the edge of the area with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
The 19-year-old then completed the scoring and earned the points for Larne in the 94th minute with a stunning effort from distance above the reach of keeper Jess Poots.
