McNEILL AT THE DOUBLE FOR CRUES
Two Darcie McNeill goals helped Crusaders Strikes defeat Linfield Women at Seaview.
The 16-year-old, who captained Northern Ireland to victory in the recent SuperCupNI, opened the scoring midway through the first half after finding herself unmarked outside the ball and expertly chipped keeper Lauren Currie.
With both sides creating chances it was obvious the next goal would be a pivotal moment in the game, and McNeill grabbed it six minutes into the second half when she poked the ball home following a fine effort from Beth Chalmers.
