SION KEEP GOOD RUN GOING
Sion Swifts Ladies continued their recent run of good form with a comprehensive defeat of Larne Women at Inver Park.
Starting brightly, Sion made the most of their early opportunities with Naomi McLaughlin opening the scoring on eight minutes after getting her head to a cross.
Tara O'Connor-Farren added a second just five minutes later with a close range finish before going on to add a third ten minutes after that.
Larne were thrown a glimmer of hope barely a minute after that when Hollie Johnston fired a 25-yard volley past Jennifer Currie.
Sion extended their advantage midway through the second half when the ball came off home defender Morgan Hanna into her own net before, right at the end, Zoe McGlynn finished off the scoring.
