FIVE STAR GLENS DOMINATE AT ASHFIELD
League leaders Glentoran Women swept to a convincing five-goal defeat of Crusaders Strikers at Ashfield.
Joely Andrews opened the scoring on 11 minutes with a lob over keeper Maddy Harvey-Clifford before Kerry Beattie made it 2-0 with a quarter-of-an-hour gone from the edge of the box.
Beattie then doubled her tally just four minutes after that when a poor clearance was pounced upon by Caragh Hamilton to create the opening.
Emily Wilson extended Glentoran's lead six minutes from the break after Beattie played the ball across the face of goal into her path.
Substitute Samantha Kelly completed the scoring three minutes from time with a strike into the roof of the net.
