GLENS HIT CANDYSTRIPES FOR SIX
Glentoran Women hit Derry City Women for six at the Brandywell to open up a three-point gap at the top of the Sports Direct Women's Premiership.
The Glens moved in front on 21 minutes after Joely Andrews finished off Emily Wilson's run and cross down the right flank.
Kerry Beattie added a second just three minutes later after getting in behind the City defence and sending a cool finish past keeper Naomh Barr.
Another two goals arrived in the closing moments of the first half. First, Andrews doubled her tally for the evening from Caragh Hamilton's lay-off before Beattie made it 4-0 with a curling finish from the edge of the area.
Rachel Rogan extended Glentoran's advantage even further on 71 minutes after controlling a ball down the middle before picking her spot to fire beyond Barr.
Then, eight minutes after that, Rogan also doubled her tally to complete the scoring after running onto a through ball.
