SION BACK ON TRACK
Sion Swifts Ladies returned to winning ways with a three-goal defeat of Crusaders Strikers at the Melvin Sports Complex.
Teegan Lynch opened the scoring early on with a close range tap in after Tasmin McCarter had knocked on a Kelly Crompton free-kick.
The Crues might have levelled with around a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock only for Amy McGivern to see a spot-kick, awarded following a push on Abigail Redmond, well saved by Swifts keeper Jennifer Currie.
Sion continued to have chances through Caoirse Doherty and Cora Chambers but couldn't find the net until the 22nd minute when Chambers' shot was spilled by Maddy Harvey-Clifford into the back of her own net.
Then, just after the hour, Lauren Haynes hit Sion's third with a flicked finish after a corner dropped into the area.
