FOUR FOR ROGAN AS GLENS RUN RIOT
Rachel Rogan bagged four first half goals as Glentoran Women romped to a crushing defeat of Lisburn Ladies at Ashfield.
Rogan opened the scoring after seven minutes with a finish below keeper Jess Poots, before doubling up four minutes later from an Emma McMaster flick.
Caragh Hamilton extended Glentoran's lead on 20 minutes with a touch past Poots, with Rogan getting her name on the scoresheet again soon after with a volley following a defensive mistake.
Rogan bagged her fourth of the evening moments after that, while Emily Wilson added number five with a great finish from Hamilton's solo run.
The visitors did pull one back before the break when Michelle McDaid's effort was touched onto the bar by Ashleigh McKinnon before rebounding off the keeper and into the net.
The scoring slowed in the second half.
Kerry Beattie hit Glentoran's seventh from the spot on 68 minutes with Hamilton wrapping things up with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining following a run into the box.
