FIVE STAR CRUES WIN ON THE ROAD
Crusaders Strikers hit five goals without reply past Mid Ulster Ladies at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena.
Morganne Beggs opened the scoring for the Crues after just four minutes with a snap shot from the edge of the box.
Amy McGivern added a second midway through the first half with a volley low to the right of keeper Lilie Crooks.
Rachel McLaren might have added a third just after the half-hour mark only to rattle the crossbar from distance but the Crues did extend their lead early in the second half courtesy of a Beth Chalmers bullet header from a McLaren corner.
Jessica Rea made it 4-0 just after the hour when she cut inside to send a left-foot finish into the top corner before, with six minutes remaining, Cora Morgan beat a defender to complete the scoring into the bottom corner.
