SUPER-8 BLUES MAKE IT THREE IN A ROW
Ebony Leckey and Carla Devine both hit hat-tricks as Linfield Women swept past Derry City Women at the Brandywell.
However, the Blues had to come from behind to claim the points after Clarah Quigg opened the scoring for the Candystripes when she made the most of a moment of confusion in the Blues defence to send a long range effort into an unguarded net.
Linfield levelled on 25 minutes when Leckey converted from the spot, before bagging another couple of goals late in the first half to complete her hat-trick.
Not to be outdone, team-mate Devine bagged a sensational hat-trick of her own in a blistering five-minute spell just before the hour.
Rebecca Bassett then added a seventh for the Blues on 62 minutes before, with five minutes remaining, Mia Fitzsimmons completed the scoring for the visitors.
