LISBURN FIGHT BACK TO EARN SECOND WIN
Lisburn Ladies came from a goal down to defeat Ballymena United Women at The Showgrounds.
The Sky Blues moved in front on 18 minutes through Megan Henry who got on the end of a Lucy Kirgan cross from the left to fend off the attentions of a defender and slam home a superb finish from inside the area.
United might have doubled their advantage soon after but Hannah Firth's effort after chasing down a long ball went just over the top.
However, the visitors levelled moments through the break. Jemma White did well to collect the ball on the left flank before sending an inch perfect cross over for Vivienne McCormack to turn home from close range.
Lisburn then edged into the lead just after the hour after Stacey Murdough teed Aisling Cull up to send rthe ball past keeper Lucy Winton.
Then, ten minutes later, Murdough got her own name on the scoresheet to complete the scoring with a powerful header from Jessica Hall's left-sided delivery.
