HALLIDAY THE HOME HAT-TRICK HERO
Keri Halliday claimed the match ball with a hat-trick to help Linfield Women defeat Crusaders Strikers at Midgley Park.
The Blues moved in front midway through the first half courtesy of a Mia Fitzsimmons finish but the Crues levelled before the half-hour mark thanks to Beth Chalmers.
However, two Halliday goals soon after restored and extended Linfield's lead, with the 18-year-old hitting a third after the hour.
That was how it stayed until stoppage time when Faith Johnston hit a second for the Strikers although there was still time after that for Emily Reid to find the net for Linfield.
