McGARRITY DOUBLE FIRES MID ULSTER TO FIRST WIN
Mid Ulster Ladies moved off the foot of the standings with their first league victory of the campaign as they ran out two-goal victors at Derry City Women.
A goal in either half from Eimear McGarrity secured the landmark win for the visitors, who leapfrog their opponents into seventh spot.
McGarrity’s first was a side-footed effort past Clare Friel in the 19th minute before a superb lobbed finish for the second, with the home side failing to generate a goal threat until the final ten minutes – but the visitors held on for a clean sheet.
