FIVE STAR CRUES WIN ON THE ROAD
Crusaders Strikers consolidated their grip on third spot in the Danske Bank Women’s Premiership with a five-goal victory at Lisburn Ladies.
The Crues were four goals ahead by the break with each goal coming in a devastating half-hour period.
Megan Ingram breaking the deadlock Morganne Beggs doubled the lead and Emily Wilson added two more before half time.
That score remained throughout the second period, in a much quieter half, but Abigail Redmond scored a late fifth to put the icing on the cake for the Crues, who have now won five of their last six league games.
