BLUES IN SEVENTH HEAVEN
Linfield Ladies ran out seven-goal victors at home to Derry City Women at New Midgely Park.
Ebony Leckey opened the scoring after just three minutes in a quiet first half, the game eventually burst to life straight out of the blocks in the second period as Carla Devine scored straight from the restart.
Further goals from Louise McFrederick and then a double from Sienna Leckey made it five. Teenage forward Keri Halliday completed the scoring with two late goals for herself to cap off a memorable night for the Blues.
Ebony Leckey opened the scoring from Halliday’s assist – the teenager also was the provider for the third; McFrederick’s header from a corner.
Sienna Leckey netted a quickfire double before Halliday scored two of her own late on to complete the scoring.
