GLENS STAY FOUR CLEAR AS McMASTER HITS HAT-TRICK
Glentoran secured a seven-goal win at basement side Derry with Ali McMaster netting a treble for Billy Clarke’s side.
Kerry Beattie, Rachel Rogan, Shannon Dunne and Nadene Caldwell were also among the scorers for the champions, who have now won four in a row in the league.
Beattie opened the scoring in the third minute before Rogan doubled the lead 12 minutes later and Dunne added a third after the break.
McMaster the netted an 11-minute hat-trick for the Glens in a spell where Caldwell also found the net to seal the points.
Billy Clarke’s side remain four points clear of Cliftonville at the top, although the Reds have two games in hand.
