ANOTHER WIN FOR SION AS REVIVAL GOES ON
Sion Swifts ran out four-goal victors over Derry City at the Brandywell as they made it six wins in a row in all competitions.
Kerryanne Brown opened the scoring for the Swifts just before the midway point in the first half as she converted her penalty before Hayley O’Donnell doubled the advantage six minutes before the break.
The hosts - whose only points of the campaign to date came in a 1-0 home victory over Sion - stayed in the game until a double from substitute Caoirse Doherty.
Doherty netted her first senior goal with 17 minutes remaining before doubling her tally and adding a fourth for Sion four minutes later.
