BROWN BAGS LATE WINNER FOR ON FORM SWIFTS
Sion Swifts made it three wins from their last four in the league with a 2-1 victory over Derry City.
Goals from Erin McLaughlin and Kerryanne Brown were enough to secure Sion the points, despite Kathryn Canavan’s goal for the visitors.
McLaughlin slotted home the opener three minutes after the break but the Candystripes equalised when Canavan scored from a corner in the 77th minute.
Four minutes later a long-range strike from Brown won the game, to see Sion leapfrog Linfield into fourth spot.
