STRIKERS MAKE IT FOUR WINS FROM FIVE
Crusaders Strikers strengthened their grip on third spot with a three-goal victory at home to Derry City Women.
First half goals from Mairead McCann and Emily Wilson alongside an 87th minute strike from Jess Rea were enough for the Crues, who now have four wins from their last five games.
McCann opened the scoring from Wilson’s cross and the teenage striker then doubled the lead five minutes before the break after being set up by Kirsty Cameron.
The two scorers each hit the post in the early stages of the second half before Rea wrapped up the win with a fine curling strike from the edge of the box.
