McGUINNESS DOUBLE HELPS SWIFTS TO THIRD PLACE FINISH
Sion Swifts will finish the campaign in third as they leapfrogged Crusaders following a final day 3-1 win at home to Cliftonville, who finish in fifth spot.
Teegan Lynch opened the scoring in the seventh minute from a Kirsty McGuinness free-kick, but Clare Carson soon cancelled it out with an equaliser, tapped in at the back post.
However, McGuinness turned from provider with a goal in either half - the first a direct free-kick ten minutes before the break before slotting home another with five minutes to go after breaking free behind the defence.
The Reds created chances in the contest with Marissa Callaghan twice hitting the post in the second half while McGuinness was denied a hat-trick late on by a superb Clare Rooney challenge.
