SION PLAY WAITING GAME AFTER ENDING CAMPAIGN ON WINNING NOTE
Sion Swifts signed off their campaign with a 13-0 win at Derry, and now face a nerve-wracking week-long wait with the destination of the league title now out of their hands.
Sion will lift their first league title if Linfield fail to beat the Candystripes by seven clear goals or more next week.
Kerryanne Brown and Kristen Desmond both netted four goals each for Sion while Donna Kay Henry netted twice with Moya Feehan among the other scorers for Sion.
Derry remain second from bottom - above Comber Rec. on goal difference - going into the final league game of the season.
