HAT-TRICK FOR CALLAGHAN AS REDS HIT FIVE
A hat-trick from Cliftonville's Marissa Callaghan helped fire them to a 5-0 win over basement side Comber Rec., with Chloe Orr and Shona Davis also finding the net for the Reds.
The Reds opened the scoring in the 24th minute after great work from Callaghan on the left to play in Orr and she tucked the ball away at the far post.
Eight minutes later, Callaghan herself scored from a Rebekah Matthews cross and in the 40th minute the midfielder added her second and Cliftonville’s third with a close-range finish.
Northern Ireland captain Callaghan added a fourth on the stroke of half-time with a peach of a strike before Davis added a fifth late on.
