SION PROVE TO BE DOUBLE TROUBLE FOR COMBER REC.
Sion Swifts remain within two points of the leading two clubs as they ran out big winners at home to basement side Comber Rec.
Moya Feehan, Chloe McGlade, Kerry Brown and Roma McLaughlin all netted twice while Ebony Leckey and Michelle McDaid were also on target for Sion, who had defeated Derry City 7-0 on Monday.
Sion's 17 goals in their two home games over three days shows their title-potential and this was another game in which they showcased their football and goalscoring prowess.
Feehan hit the opening two goals for the hosts but spurned the opportunity of a hat-trick when she missed from the penalty spot ten minutes before the break.
Sion continued their dominance after half time and hit seven goals across 38 minutes as they significantly improved their goal difference, leaving Comber still looking to add to their one point thus far.
