SIX-STAR BLUES WIN AGAIN
Linfield continued their perfect start as captain Kirsty McGuinness and Megan Bell both netted hat-tricks in a six-goal defeat of newly promoted Comber Rec.
Phil Lewis' side have now scored 17 goals without reply in their opening five league matches as they aim to make it four league titles in succession.
The Blues made some changes to the starting line up from last week's victory over Cliftonville, with Louise McFrederick, Claire Timoney and Rebecca Bassett coming into the starting eleven.
McGuinness opened the scoring in the third minute with Bell's direct free-kick nine minutes later doubling the lead. In the 31st minute Bell made it 3-0 with a fantastic strike from a narrow angle on the left side. Bell completed her hat-trick five minutes after that, with McGuinness this time the provider.
McGuinness made it five just after the break and despite having a penalty saved midway through the half, she atoned for this to complete her hat-trick with a long-range strike ten minutes from time.
