Linfield Ladies will look to make it a domestic clean sweep on Monday night when they face Newry City Ladies in the NIFL Women's Premiership League Cup Final at Holm Park, Armagh (7:30pm).
After lifting the inaugural NIFL Danske Bank Women's Premiership title last month, the Co. Antrim FA Cup and, most recently, the Irish Women's Cup on Friday, Linfield Ladies can claim their fourth trophy of the season if they can grab a victory against the County Down side.
After slipping to just one defeat in all competitions this season Ryan McConville's girls have already got the better of Newry in their last two meetings; a 7-1 league win was followed up with a 3-0 victory in the Women’s Irish Cup.
Newry's last 12 domestic games has seen them win seven, draw three and lose two, which is excellent form but those two defeats came against Linfield.
However, the opening day of the season was a different story as Newry City Ladies, who were the reigning League champions at the time, held the Blues to a 0-0 draw at the Showgrounds. They will be aiming for another performance like this if they are to stop Linfield from lifting their fourth trophy of the season.
Newry qualified for the League Cup Final after a tremendous 4-3 win away to Glentoran Belfast United and followed this up with a 3-2 victory over Sion Swifts.
Linfield faced North Belfast opponents in their route to the Final beating Cliftonville Ladies 5-0 and Crusaders Strikers 1-0 in the Semi-Final.
