MURDOUGH DOUBLE SENDS LISBURN THROUGH
Stacey Murdough bagged a second half double as Lisburn Ladies progressed in the Women's Premiership League Cup at the expense of Larne Women at the Bluebell Stadium.
Nina Morrison had fired Larne in front as early as the sixth minute, but this was cancelled out by Danni Jennings after a quarter-of-an-hour.
And that was how it stayed until a couple of minutes from the break when Michelle McDaid edged Lisburn in front for the first time.
Murdough extended their advantage early in the second half before making sure of a quarter-final place with ten minutes remaining.
