CRUES REDISCOVER WINNING TOUCH
Crusaders returned to winning ways with a two-goal win over Coleraine at The Showgrounds.
The Bannsiders were presented with a number of openings during the first half but Rhyss Campbell, Connor Murray and Matthew Shevlin all missed good opportunities.
It fell to the visitors to break the deadlock when, on 35 minutes, Declan Caddell's side moved in front through Jacob Blaney's back post header from a Ross Clarke free-kick.
And Murray could have levelled early in the second half only for his curling effort from Jamie Glackin's free-kick to brush off the crossbar.
Harry Jewitt-White thought he had doubled Crusaders' lead soon after with a low finish under Max Little but the 'goal' was ruled out offside.
Coleraine were denied by the woodwork again after substitute Corey Smith sent a right-foot curling effort crashing against an upright before the ball fell to safety.
However Jewitt-White made sure of the points for the Crues deep into added time after being teed up by Josh O'Connor's run and lay-off down the left.
