LOUGHGALL EARN POINT AGAINST GLENS
Despite surrendering an early lead Loughgall held on to secure a vital Sports Direct Premiership point at home to Glentoran.
In a frantic start to the game it was Glentoran who took the lead with the first goal of the day as Dylan Connolly capitalised on poor defending to open the scoring at Lakeview Park.
The lead only lasted for two minutes as the home side struck back when Lewis Francis was on hand to tap in Nathaniel Ferris' cross from close range.
Ferris then got in on the act himself on 22 minutes when he broke free of the Glentoran defence to stab home Andrade's cross from a free-kick.
Loughgall took their lead into the second half, but Glentoran eventually forced an equaliser through substitute Charlie Lindsay who found space to finish Jordan Jenkins' cross from six yards out.
Despite Glentoran pressure, bottom placed Loughgall held on for a vital point in their battle to remain in the Sports Direct Premiership.
