PORTS HIT GLENS WITH LATE DOUBLE
Two late goals helped Portadown get the better of Glentoran at the BetMcLean Oval.
Scoreless for most of the game, the Ports might have moved in front midway through the first half only to strike the woodwork when Eamon Fyfe struck the back post from close from a Ryan Mayse pass.
But Portadown did find a way through eight minutes from time when Shay McCartan converted from the spot after he had been clipped from behind by Fuad Sule.
Then, deep into added time, Mayse made sure for Niall Currieās side after Ben Wylie had rolled the ball into his path.
