BLUES COME FROM BEHIND TO GO FIVE CLEAR
Linfield moved five points clear at the top of the Sports Direct Premiership after coming from behind to defeat Carrick Rangers at Taylors Avenue.
Rangers got off to a dream start when, after just three minutes, they seized the advantage when Joe Crowe sent a deflected effort past David Walsh after the ball broke for him from a corner.
Stephen Baxter's side might have doubled their lead early in the second half only for the ball to come back off the base of an upright from David Cushley's corner.
However Linfield levelled on 77 minutes through Kyle McClean with a low finish into the far corner from Kirk Millar's cross.
And the visitors moved in front just a couple of minutes after that when Joel Cooper beat keeper Ben McCauley with a superb finish from the edge of the box.
Then, three minutes into added time, Chris Shields completed the scoring from the spot after Matthew Fitzpatrick had been brought down by Luke McCullough.
