CRUES EDGE PAST BANNSIDERS
Crusaders edged to victory by the odd goal in three over Coleraine at Seaview.
The Crues moved in front midway through the first half when Kieran Offord won possession of the ball before crossing for Stewart Nixon to fire past keeper Max Little into the top corner.
Coleraine came close to levelling soon after only for Connor Murray to skim the crossbar from distance, but they did find the equaliser ten minutes from the break after Jamie McGonigle played Dylan Boyle through to finish strongly past Jonny Tuffey.
Declan Caddell's regained the advantage on 56 minutes, however, after Jordan Stewart ran onto Harry Franklin's through ball to make mistake with a low strike beyond Little.
And they might have added a third late in the game only for Ross Clarke's long range effort to be well kept out by the Bannsiders' keeper.
