SKY BLUES HIT FOUR TO GO TOP
Ballymena United made it seven wins on the bounce to defeat Loughgall at The Showgrounds and move to the top of the Sports Direct Premiership.
United moved in front on 25 minutes when Ben Kennedy converted from the spot after Luke Cartwright was penalised for a challenge on Calvin McCurry.
The Sky Blues doubled their advantage just a couple of minutes after that through Kym Nelson who met Josh Carson's to head home from close range.
Loughgall pulled one back on 32 minutes when an attempted clearance fell for Jay Boyd to send a low shot past Sean O'Neill.
However Jim Ervin's side restored their two-goal cushion just two minutes later when Andy Scott slid in to touch Joe Moore's cross from the left over the line.
And Moore got on the scoresheet just before the hour after a Carson free-kick was knocked into his path by Nelson.
