PORTS CRUISING AT SEAVIEW
Portadown have now gone six league games unbeaten following a three-goal defeat of Crusaders at Seaview.
Niall Currie's side moved in front on 29 minutes when, following a period of pressure, Eoghan McCawl laid off a through ball for Ryan Mayse to touch past the advancing Jonny Tuffey from an acute angle.
The Crues pushed hard for the equaliser after the break, with Ross Clarke forcing Aaron McCarey into a full length save before Kieran Offord got past a couple of defenders but was again denied by the keeper while James Teelan failed to touch home the rebound.
Portadown doubled their lead on 69 minutes courtesy of Ahu Obhakhan when he collected a Shay McCartan pass, took a touch to control himself, and fired into the bottom right in off the post.
Then, with around a quarter-of-an-hour remaining, Lewis MacKinnon added a third after pouncing on the rebound when Tuffey had done well to beat out Luke Wilson's initial effort.
