NO WAY THROUGH AT MOURNEVIEW
Glenavon and Larne played on a Tuesday night scoreless draw at Mourneview Park.
Larne came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half when, on 22 minutes, Matthew Lusty fired towards goal from the left corner of the box only for the ball to strike the crossbar.
The champions threatened again not long after that when Sean Graham fired straight at keeper Gareth Deane before a Chris Gallagher volley skimmed the woodwork.
And Larne were unfortunate not to move in front with the best chance of the second half when, in the closing moments, Deane pulled off a great stop to deny Paul O'Neill's header that looked destined for the bottom corner.
