LATE DRAMA AS POINTS SHARED ACROSS MID ULSTER
There was late drama at Mourneview Park, as Loughgall thought they had claimed all three points only to be pegged back.
After an even first-half, where there was no goals - the game burst to life in the second half.
The visitors took the lead on 67 minutes when substitute Jay Boyd found space in a goalmouth scramble to stab home the opening goal of the game, this came only two minutes after the young striker had entered the action.
Glenavon equalised with a quarter of an hour to go, as Barney McKeown's looping header from a long through found it's way past Nathan Gartside in the Villagers' goal.
Then came the late drama as Loughgall thought they had won it through substitute Jordan Gibson with six minutes remaining, but James Doona restored parity two minutes later for the Lurgan Blues as the points where shared.
