BLUES SWEEP PAST VILLAGERS
Linfield swept to a crushing defeat of Loughgall at Windsor Park to maintain their unblemished start to the season.
Chris McKee opened the scoring on ten minutes with a successfully converted spot-kick awarded for handball, with Sam Roscoe then doubling up on 17 minutes with a powerful header from a Joel Cooper corner.
Cooper got in on the act himself just before the half-hour mark after being played through by McKee to slip past the defence and slot the ball into the net.
Roscoe then grabbed his second of the afternoon seven minutes from the break with a glancing header from a right sided cross.
Ethan McGee added to Linfield's tally almost on the hour with a header after Kirk Millar's free-kick found him at the back post.
The Villagers did bag a consolation, though, when Ryan Waide squeezed the ball home from a tight angle.
