GIBSON AT THE DOUBLE FOR VILLAGERS
Jordan Gibson bagged two first half goals as Loughgall swept to victory over Carrick Rangers at Lakeview Park.
Curtis Allen might have fired the visitors in front with around a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock only to rattle the woodwork from a Nedas Maciulaitis lay-off.
But the deadlock was broken on 27 minutes when Gibson grabbed his first of the afternoon with a glancing finish to Jamie Rea's corner at the near post.
And the 29-year-old doubled the home advantage right at the end of the first half after making the most of some poor defending to nod home unmarked just yards from goal.
That was how it stayed until the 90th minute when substitute Benji Magee came off the bench to cut in from the left and curl a stunning strike past Ross Glendinning into the far corner.
