VILLAGERS HIT FOUR AT THE SHOWGROUNDS
Newry City's time in the Sports Direct Premiership ended in defeat to Loughgall at the Showgrounds.
The Villagers moved in front after 11 minutes when Andrew Hoey knocked home a low drilled effort after the home defence failed to clear the ball.
Ryan Waide doubled up for Dean Smith's side just five minutes after that following another failure to clear the ball ended with a curling finish into the bottom right corner.
But Newry hit back midway through the first half. A Georgie Poynton free-kick to the back post saw Barney McKeown's initial effort saved by Daniel Devine only for the ball to rebound off him and into the net.
That was how it stayed until a couple of minutes from time after Nathaniel Ferris' header was saved with the ball falling for Ben Murdock to touch home from point blank range.
And Caolan McAleer wrapped the scoring up in stoppage time after he was played through to take the ball around Conor Mitchell.
