MOORE AND CAMPBELL ON TARGET FOR SWIFTS
Newry City's relegation worries increased after going down by two goals at home to Dungannon Swifts.
City could have gone in front early in the game only for Fra McCaffrey to blaze over the bar from close range after Adam Salley had cut the ball back.
They were punished on 21 minutes when Joe Moore blasted Dungannon in front after being allowed to cut in from the flank to fire past keeper Conor Mitchell.
Newry might have grabbed a somewhat fortunate equaliser later in the half when John Scott almost headed into his own net only for Declan Dunne to get a hand to the ball.
And Dunne came to Dungannon's rescue again after that to deny Liam Bagnall as City pressed for the equaliser.
However the Swifts enjoyed the better chances after the break, almost doubling their advantage with a succession of efforts from Andy Mitchell, James Knowles, Leonel Alves and Gael Bigirimana.
But Rodney McAree's side did go two-up right at the end when Rhyss Campbell converted from the spot after being brought down by Mitchell - with Newry also reduced to ten men following Barney McKeown's dismissal for dissent in the aftermath.
