REDS DO ENOUGH TO SECURE THEIR PLACE IN EUROPE
Cliftonville did enough to secure their place in Europe next season despite surrendering an early two-goal lead to Coleraine at The Showgrounds.
The Reds thought they had moved in front with just over 20 minutes on the clock when Joe Gormley found the net after Chris Curran's initial effort had been cleared off the line but he was ruled offside by the officials.
But, moments after that, they did take the lead after Paddy Burns volleyed home from close range when Sean Stewart's free-kick wasn't cleared by the home defence.
Then, just five minutes later, Rory Hale added a second with a thundering rebound effort past Rory Brown after Josh Carson had done well to clear Jonny Addis' header off the line.
Coleraine hit back just after the hour through Matthew Shevlin with a close range finish on the follow up when Carson's low cross into the box was only palmed out by keeper David Odumosu.
And the Bannsiders levelled in the closing moments after Jamie Glackin sent over a cross that Odumosu could only fumble into his own net as he attempted to deal with the danger.
