NO GOALS AT THE SHOWGROUNDS
Coleraine and Larne battled to a scoreless draw at The Showgrounds, a result which saw Tiernan Lynch's side stretch their lead at the top to two points.
The visitors had a great chance to go in front with around a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock when Tomas Cosgrove got his head to a Levi Ives free-kick only to nod just off target from close range.
Then, after half-an-hour, Andy Ryan also threatened for Larne with a 25-yard drive which looked destined for the bottom corner only for Rory Brown to do well to turn the ball to safety.
Coleraine's best moment of the first half came just before the break when Jamie Glackin burst through to run onto a Matthew Shevlin ball but keeper Rohan Ferguson managed to stick a leg out to nullify the danger.
Larne came close again midway through the second half with another Ryan effort only for the ball to fall the wrong side of the far post.
A similar fate befell a Conor McKendry effort at the other end a little later in the half while Graham Kelly headed straight at Ferguson from a good position.
And Coleraine might have snatched the win in the dying moments after Glackin picked out Shevlin on the run but he could only send a left-foot volley past the post as the game ended scoreless.
