CLINCIAL LARNE MARCH ON
Larne continued their charge at the top of the table with a three-goal defeat of Glentoran at Inver Park.
The league leaders might have gone in front during the opening exchanges after Lee Bonis got past Luke McCullough before drilling an effort towards goal only for the ball to smash against the upright.
At the other end Daire O'Connor had a go from around 25 yards but his strike was tipped away to Rohan Ferguson.
Larne came close again soon after when Bonis flicked on a Dylan Sloan free-kick just the wrong side of the target.
But, on 39 minutes, Larne did take the lead when Bonis finally found the target after running onto a Sean Graham through ball to coolly slot past Aaron McCarey.
Andy Ryan might have doubled Larne's lead just before the hour from another Graham delivery but he lost his balance and fired over from a good position.
However Ryan did get on the scoresheet on 64 minutes after dusting himself off from being brought down by Fuad Sule on the edge on the area and curling a superbly executed free-kick over the wall and past a static McCarey into the top corner.
And Larne made sure of the points seven minutes after that with Bonis' second of the evening when he provided the finishing touch to a Levi Ives run and pass.
