LATE DRAMA AT MOURNEVIEW
Both Glenavon and Linfield hit late goals amid a dramatic finish to proceedings at Mourneview Park.
Linfield got off to a great start when, as early as the second minute, Kyle McClean played Stephen Fallon through to take the ball past Gareth Deane before turning it home from a tight angle.
Glenavon responded positively and duly levelled just after the half-hour mark through James Doona after he pounced on a defensive mistake to calmly fire into the bottom corner.
That was how it stayed until a couple of minutes from time after Darragh McBrien thought he had secured the points for Linfield when he arrived at the back post to power a header into the roof of the net from Kirk Millar's cross from the right.
Chris McKee came close to adding a third for Linfield soon after only to strike the post but, as late as six minutes into added time, Aaron Prendergast tapped home the equaliser for Glenavon after Peter Campbell turned an effort from outside the box onto an upright.
