REDS POWER PAST BANNSIDERS
Cliftonville cruised to an ultimately comfortable defeat of Coleraine at Solitude to stretch their unbeaten league run to 13 games.
The Reds moved in front on 11 minutes through Ronan Hale who made the most of a mistake by keeper Rory Brown to roll the ball into an empty net.
Shea Kearney doubled Cliftonville's lead just over ten minutes later after Hale cut the ball into his path to send a side foot finish past Brown.
Coleraine levelled six minutes into the second half. Conor McKendry sent the ball over from the right for Matthew Shevlin to test David Odumosu with a header with the loose ball falling for Jamie McGonigle to tap home.
But Cliftonville restored their two goal cushion moments later after a Patrick Burns long throw caused trouble in the area for Sam Ashford to capitalise and send a low shot into the far corner.
Cliftonville were reduced to ten men late in the game following Odhran Casey's second caution of the afternoon, but Jim Magilton's side still went on to bag a fourth in stoppage time after Rory Hale sent a right-foot curling effort into the net off an upright.
