RYAN DOUBLE EARNS LARNE THE WIN
Larne moved to the top of the table, at least overnight, with a two-goal defeat of Loughgall at Inver Park.
A mistake by Larne keeper Rohan Ferguson might have lead to an early goal for the visitors when he sent an attempted clearance straight at Benji Magee, with the ball eventually falling for Caolan McAleer to have a shot on goal only for Ferguson to redeem himself with a save.
At the other end Sean Graham saw an effort deflected wide for a corner, while Lee Bonis had a looping header gathered by Berraat Turker.
Larne moved in front on 20 minutes, however, when Andy Ryan stepped up to a free-kick on the edge of the box to send a curling left-foot finish beyond Turker and into the top corner.
And the defending champions looked to extend their advantage as the first half progressed with Aaron Donnelly firing just wide from distance, and Ryan flashing another shot just the wrong side of the target.
Tiernan Lynch's side doubled their lead midway through the second half as Ryan doubled up when he controlled the ball with his chest before sending it past Turker from just inside the box.
Larne came close to adding a third courtesy of substitute Dylan Sloan but he could only fire wide under pressure from Caolan Loughran.
